Fenêtre Sur Cours photo exhibition by Corinne Dubreuil at the Hotel & Spa la Belle Juliette until 16th September 2024

Corinne Dubreuil has always been a fan of tennis, and a player since the age of 14. At 16 she started frequenting Roland Garros in order to takes pictures of the practice sessions.

A lot has happened since then, and she is now showing her photos of Rafael Nadal, Serena Williams, Roger Federer, Amélie Mauresmo and others in the new free exhibition at the gallery of the Hotel & Spa la Belle Juliette.

Corinne Dubreuil was lucky enough to meet Chris Evert by chance at Roland Garros, and it proved to be a crucial moment in her life. She and Evert became friendly, and Evert encouraged her to pursue her dream of becoming a tennis photographer, sending her tickets to various European tournaments.

Corinne was thus able to take photos not only of the matches, but also behind the scenes, and after perfecting her craft and having her work published in Tennis Magazine, she is now an independent photographer and a reference in the world of sport – assuredly one of the greatest tennis photographers in the world.

By the way, if you’re wondering why the exhibition is called Fenêtre sur Cours, it’s a play on words – Fenêtre sur Cour is the French title for the Hitchcock film Rear Window, but ‘cours’ is also the word for a court, so the literal translation would be ‘Window overlooking the courts’ while also referencing the title of the film 🙂

The exhibition Fenêtre Sur Cours by Corinne Dubreuil is at the gallery of the Belle Juliette (here) until 16th September 2024

Open every day from 11am-10pm, and free!
