For its 26th edition, Paris Photo, the biggest international photo fair in Europe, returns to the Grand Palais Éphémère (près de our hotels) for the third and final time before retrieving its traditional venue of the Grand Palais, whose renovation will be finished in 2024.

Around 200 booths are on offer, both photo galleries and book publishers, plus prizes for the year’s best books, a spotlight on female artists called Elles x Paris Photo and a new digital section that also takes a look at the challenges faced by the rise of AI.

Paris Photo seems to go from strength to strength each year, and if you’re in Europe in November and love photography, you really shouldn’t miss it.

Dozens of booths await you showcasing all style and eras, with a main section, a second section for digital photos, and a third called Curiosa for new and upcoming galleries and artists.

However, the fair has a lot more to offer than that! There’s also:

— La Plateforme, a stage for conversations with people from the art and photography world (translated live into French / English, depending on the person speaking). These videos can also be seen live on the website,

— And in addition, thee conversations per day with three artists together, organised by The Eyes,

— The Paris Photo-Aperture Prize, with awards for best first photo book, photo book of the year and photo catalogue of the year (winners announced 10th November at 3pm),

— Exhibitions of recent acquisitions by the JP Morgan Chase Art Collection and BMW…

But wait, there’s more:

— A space giving carte blanche to art students, in collaboration with the Picto Foundation and SNCF Gares & Connexions (which is showing the photos at the Gare de Lyon train station until 15th December),

— A performance once every day, created by artist Silvia Bigi and called a little poetic power to tell it to the world,

— Book signings, with dozens of photographers each day,

— Elles X Paris Photo to spotlight the importance and quality of female artists’ work…
