This month it is our pleasure to present Hossain, who you’ll find at the reception desk of Hotel Design Sorbonne. He tells us how he came to work at the hotel and reveals a few of his favourite addresses nearby.

Bonjour / Hello / শুভ সকাল / शुभ प्रभात,

My name is Mohammad Khadamul Hossain. Before becoming involved in the hotel trade, I worked in a variety of different areas. In 2013 I graduated with a diploma (BAC STI2D, science and industry technologies, and sustainable development). In 2015, I worked with the national rail provider SNCF for a year.

Later, in early 2017, I chose to go into the hotel trade. After training, I started work at a hotel in Montmartre in August 2017 as a receptionist, which allowed me to learn my trade and acquire a wide range of skills, with a former HPRG employee as my manager!

As I wanted to continue learning in this domain, I decided to continue my studies in 2019 (a BTS in hotel and restaurant management) with work experience, which I did at a four-star hotel near Charles de Gaulle airport. This experience allowed me to discover the organisation of work in a large hotel.

At the end of my studies, I wanted to return to Paris and work on the Left Bank, and joined the dynamic and professional team at the Hotel Design Sorbonne in April 2022.

I love my work, and the diversity of it. We have to respect HPRG procedures HPRG to maintain the quality of service and guest satisfaction, which I fell is essential.

What I love at the Hotel Design Sorbonne is its unique identity and interior design.

My professional objective currently is to continue learning and advancing within the HPRG collection.
