The most chic and Parisian of the city’s departments stores – Le Bon Marché, super close to our hotels – is all ready for Christmas with animated window displays, special decorations in their gorgeous central space and undoubtedly the best selection of Christmas decorations and gifts you’ll find anywhere in town!

There may be only a handful of animated window displays at Le Bon Marché, but that doesn’t stop kids from gaping in awe whenever they see them.

This year’s retro-futuristic theme sees elves preparing for the holiday season by creating baubles, drying them, etc.

Once inside, you shouldn’t miss the giant baubles hanging in the main central area. It’s maybe a little more subdued than previous years, but the sheer scale is impressive.

The store also has a Christmas decorations shop with some great stuff, and elsewhere there are stylish pop-up concept stores with all sorts of ideas for presents, and even a few exclusive items like a story book about Le Petit Nicolas at Le Bon Marché, a Bon Marché goose game…
