The summer holidays are nearly over, and the blog is getting ready for its proper return (next week).

In the meantime, it’s our great pleasure to continue sharing with you some lovely photos taken at the hotels that make up the HPRG collection.

Today, the establishment in question is the Hotel & Spa la Belle Juliette, and specifically its new menu of chic snacks concocted by famous chef (and star of French TV) Flora Mikula for the hotel’s restaurant.

There’s no greater expert on French cuisine than influential critic and blogger Gilles Pudlowski, and he talks of Flora with a number of superlatives, saying that she pay “particular attention to traditional local produce” and has “a frank and ‘bistronomic’ approach” to cuisine, aided by the special relationships she has built with the best wholesalers at Rungis, the huge fruit ‘n’ veg market for professionals just outside Paris that serves as a food supply hub for much of Europe.
