Christmas at the Invalides, 15th – 31st December 2017

Housing Napoleon’s tomb and the Army Museum, a visit to the Invalides – not far from our hotels – is essential at any time of the year, but their Christmas at the Invalides events are an even bigger reason to pay them a visit!

Over the course of two weeks, numerous events await you – special visits, the dom illuminated, an escape game, concerts, a film…

Here’s all the info.
Christmas at the Invalides, 15th-31st December 2017

You won’t be bored at the Army Museum over the Christmas holidays! The museum is organising the second edition of Christmas at the Invalides, with lots and lots on offer!

Everything starts the weekend of 16th & 17th December to celebrate Sainte-Barbe, the moment the United States entered the First World War in 1917. Starting 2.30pm there a free historical show with horses, brass bands and jeeps in the Cour d’Honneur.

Over the weekend, the museum offers you one free entry for every one bought, and there are special guided visits available.

There are also special events linked with the exhibition The Life of a Soldier on 21st, 23rd & 28th December, when you can become a Roman soldier or a soldier from the Middle Ages. Again, special visits of the exhibition are also available.
