Cité de la musique à la Vilette Paris

If you like music and architecture, The Cité de la Musique is the place to go !

The Cité de la Musique was inaugurated in 1995. It is a place for communication and dialogue, encouraging access to culture for all through its concerts, museum and exhibitions, documentation centres and its educational and publishing activities aimed at both adults and young people.

French architect Christian de Portzamparc, winner of the Pritzker Prize in 1994, integrated the concept of a global project for music by creating an architectural composition on both sides of the Grande Halle, with the Conservatoire de Paris to the west, and the Cité de la Musique to the east, waiting for you to visit.
