And yet another photo fair! After Photo Month, Photo Month OFF, the Salon de la Photo and the Paris Photo Fair, here comes Fotofever for a third edition. So what makes it different from the rest? A desire to make the average woman / man on the street an avid photo collector!

It is a little odd to see a trade fair like this admit on its own site that the number of visitors is down, year on year (1,500 less in 2013 compared to 2011). And yet, the number of participating galleries is up from 40, to 70, and now almost 110.

So perhaps Fotofever is worth our time? After all, in addition to the usual signings and meet ‘n’ greets, you can also bee serenaded by the event’s very own jazz band. How simply charming. 🙁

And if Fotofever does indeed inspire you to become an art collector of the photographic variety, a little guide is available to nurture you through your first steps.

The event is also proud to present the winner of this year’s fotoprize, a certain Laure Fauvel.
