It used to be in an old aquarium shop. It’s now in a hidden backstreet. It used to be full from 7.30pm to midnight and serve the best pizzas in Paris. Some things never change…

Amici Miei used to be the restaurant you would queue at least an hour for. The decor was as dodgy as the pizzas were heavenly. After years of packing them in they’ve finally moved to larger premises and gosh ! it looks like a proper restaurant at last.

Deep brown parquet, old mirrors and subdued lighting are only cosmetic changes of course, but who’s going to say no to having more room, a bigger terrace or a window next to a lush garden whilst enjoying – no, really – the best pizzas in Paris?

Arrive early or expect to wait. They don’t take reservations, and they don’t take credit cards. Like that attitude!
