A fair of all the key players in heritage: "Salon de patrimoine culturel" at Carroussel du Louvre in Paris from 9 to 12 November 2006

A prestigious event in Paris for all those who love heritage and cultural.

Each year, the cultural heritage fair in Paris welcomes more than 250 exhibitors: restorers – master craftsmen and companies – Institutions – Local authorities – Professional organisations – Associations – Publishing – Press – Schools and Training courses – Museums and museum techniques…
It is the opportunity for 20,000 visitors, professionals and amateurs, to discover know-how that is part of the greatest tradition, as well as the latest innovative techniques.

Developing year after year, the fair has positioned itself today as the unique meeting place for all the players in the heritage industry, for all those who turn their attention to the past and plan into the future… A witness to the riches of the past, the event is an essential economic vehicle for the growth of companies that work to protect and restore the assets of our heritage. Associations and professional organisations contribute greatly to the development of these skilled trades which are the flagship of France abroad.

The 2006 Salon du Patrimoine Culturel is placing the focus both on Business & Heritage and Europe & Heritage. This twofold theme mirrors the desire of the fair to link culture and economy, and offer new markets to craftsmen and businesses. By promoting the master restorers and restoration companies, the fair wishes to highlight their know-how, contribute to their economic development and encourage the transmission of their skills and enterprises. Belgium (the Walloon region), Italy (Chamber of Commerce) and Russia, will contribute to the influence of the fair within Europe. Métiers d’excellence, savoir-faire, traditions, patrimonial riches…the fair will be more than ever a place for exchange.

Conferences and panel discussions, workshops, awards, exhibits will make the fair a lively place throughout the four days of the event. Professionals, amateurs, enthusiasts, big and small will thus meet up at the very heart of Heritage life.
