And here’s some even better news – the 2024 Paris winter sales have started!

For four weeks only, stores are authorised to sell their stock at a loss. This is the time to book a room with us and snag some super bargains!

Here’s all the info.

The winter sales started in Paris at 8am on Wednesday 10th January 2024 and last for four weeks (the dates are strictly defined by law). This means that the sales end on Tuesday 6th February 2024. The same dates apply for online sales, regardless of the country in which the headquarters of the company in question is based.

Often, you’ll find that a second reduction is applied after a period of seven to ten days, but sometimes this can mean missing out on limited stock – only you can decide when is the judicious moment to make your purchase!

Near our hotels we could suggest you walk along boulevard Saint Germain where you’ll find a large variety of upmarket clothes and leather stores (including Louis Vuitton and Ralph Lauren) before heading off to the square next to the Saint-Sulpice church, where there are other famous smart names like Saint Laurent.

Next, you could go to nearby rue de Rennes which has more mainstream brands, and why not finish off with a visit to the unmissable Bon Marché which has all the most sought-after names under one extremely chic roof.

You might like to know that all articles noted as being at a reduced price have to have been in stock for at least a month before the sales start – it is forbidden by maw to bring in stock specially – and that if anything you buy has a defect, you are entitled to return it, despite what is sometime marked in-stire.

The reduction shown on articles is based on its lowest price during the previous 30 days, and it is forbidden to raise prices artificially before the sales start in order to give the impression of a larger reduction.
