Meet our team – Nundeenee of the Hotel Design Sorbonne
This month we would like you to meet Nundeenee, head housekeeper at the Hotel Design Sorbonne. She explains how she came to work there and tells us her favourite places to go nearby…

My professional career started in the Parisian suburb of Créteil, where I first trained to be a housekeeper. In the following few years at large establishments I became the main housekeeper for certain floors, then first housekeeper and eventually assistant to the head housekeeper.
Following on from that, I was head housekeeper for three years, and then quality manager. For the past 18 months I’ve been working as head housekeeper within the HPRG collection.
I love the daily challenges that come with the job – I find them a positive stimulus. Every day is different, but I always try to use my energy and momentum to keep my teams motivated. I want to see them progress as I have, and still hope to progress myself. By working hard at my job, I think I’ll be able to!

Here are a few places selected by Nundeenee, her favourite spots not far from the hotel – a cool bar and a couple of streets worth exploring for their atmosphere and boutiques!
