The biggest photo fair in the world – Paris Photo – returns to the Grand Palais Éphémère (not far from our hotels) for its 25th edition!

This year there are 181 stands and 31 countries represented, a special section called Curiosa for new talents, a book fair with 32 publishers from 9 countries, exhibitions, Elles x Paris Photo celebrating female photographers, the Photobook Awards for the best photo books of the year, conferences…

… and cult Spanish actress Rossy de Palma as the guest of honour!

Once again, there’s a dizzying amount of things to do and see at Paris Photo. So we can be grateful to Rossy de Palma for having selected 25 photos that she particularly loves, shown on different stands throughout the fair, so we can start there are see where it takes us.

The next logical step of course would be to go and explore the 138 galleries present in the main section (including 18 attending for the first time), the bookshop section (with many signing sessions and a pop-up Louis Vuitton bookstore) and the Curiosa section with participants selected by Holly Roussell.

A lot of solo and duo exhibitions are on offer, and the fair continues to support female photographers through Elles x Paris Photo, which looks particularly interesting this year.

For anyone unable to attend in person, online viewing rooms are available (but only until 13th November) so you can take a look at the galleries’ propositions (like our pals from the Galerie Esther Woerdehoff 😜) and the price of each piece.

Also, the catalogue of the event (138 pages) is available as a free download here. Just fill in your name and e-mail address (or any name and a fake e-mail address) and you’re in!
