Medhi Sassi, a receptionist at the Hotel des Grands Hommes, teltells us how he came to work at the hotel, and gives us his favourite addresses nearby!

I joined the Grands Hommes team in February 2021 as part of my final year of tourism studies. The first year was a wonderful experience and allowed me improve my skills in a well known establishment of the 5th arrondissement.

Everyone who works at the hotel is great, always helping me to improve. I continue to conjointly work and study for a masters degree in tourism, and have chosen to remain at the Hotel des Grands Hommes in order to have as big a chance as possible of making my dream come true – becoming the manager of a hotel one day.

Currently the hotel trade is recovering from a crisis unlike anything ever encountered before, and I can’t wait to tackle the challenges that await us.

Here are some of Medhi’s favourite places near the hotel – a walk by the Seine, a theatre, a museum, a chocolate shop and a very famous café!
