See where And Just Like That… was filmed, less than 10 minutes from the Hôtel Saint-André des Arts!

If you followed the original Sex and the City series, then it’s likely you’ve also seen HBO’s And Just Like That… and know that the main protagonist Carrie Bradshaw loves fashion and loves Paris.

The first season finale of And Just Like That… closes with a scene in Paris, a touching moment that sees Carrie saying goodbye to someone very close to her heart…

This scene was filmed on the Pont des Arts, opposite the Louvre and not far from our hotels (see below for the full details), with Sarah Jessica Parker wearing the most gorgeous / impractical Valentino dress, and the bridge completely deserted, a somewhat rare occasion.

A bit of research helped us find a few Instagram accounts very much obsessed by the fashion showcased in the series, including this one that has the lowdown on this particular flamboyant creation.

And let’s not forget the Eiffel Tower bag! This is the second time it’s been seen in Carrie’s hands (the first was on SATC), it’s made out of hand-carved acacia, and it will cost you $4,500 (plus postage and packing).

As for the music heard in the clip, of course the first track is the classic Hello It’s Me by Todd Rungren which was first released in 1973. Then at the very end of the clip, you might catch a few bars of a more recent song, In Love With You by The Paradise, which was released in 2003.

It’s amusing to think that 30 years separate the two pieces of music, and almost as many the first seasons of Sex And The City and And Just Like That…
