Two of Paris’ biggest department stores happen to be next door to each other, and at Christmas Printemps and Galeries Lafayette go all out to impress shoppers more than their rival!

Let’s take a look then at what Printemps Haussmann has on offer this year!

Christmas is the most important time of the year for Paris’ department stores, as it’s during this period that they do almost a third of their yearly sales revenue.

This year, Printemps Haussmann mostly has special event on offer based around well-known brands, like a pop-up Chanel store celebrating 100 years of the iconic perfume Chanel N°5, and a spotlight on products from Cleef & Arpels.

But there are a few fun things happening in-store, like the Arsène Lutin treasure hunt – find the mischievous elf somewhere in the department store and scan the QR Code next to it to open a special app and enter the prize draw. Over 9,000 lots are up for grabs, and you could even win the special draw on Christmas Eve which is a huge Xmas hamper!

Mkrs. also has a few ‘happenings’ planned on their stand, like a workshop for making edible good lluck charms out of marshmallow, a presentation on how to sculpt vegetables, a cocktail tasting session, and more.
