We like to encourage and promote talents within our collection, so it’s with a certain pleasure that we present Pauline Petit, head of reception at the Hôtel Design Sorbonne, who tells us how she arrived at the hotel…

Here I am – back at HPRG!

After graduating with a BTS degree in tourism in 2012, followed by a RISLAV diploma (Responsable international de structures de loisirs, d’accueil et de voyages) in 2014, I chose to go into the hotel trade. In April 2015 I started working at the Hotel des Grands Hommes as a receptionist, where I learned the trade and acquired many varied skills.

As I wanted to progress further, I then went on to work at a different hotel for two years.

In September 2018, I returned to HPRG as head of reception at the Hôtel Design Sorbonne where I am alreday learning a lot with our young and dynamic team.

I love my job, which has many different aspects, and concentrates of providing a quality service that gives our guests satisfaction.

And let’s not forget the fact that I love the 5th arrondissement, which – I have to say – I had missed.
