We’ve made our yearly pilgrimage to the big department stores on boulevard Haussmann to see their famous animated Christmas window displays!

Before Galeries Lafayette, we had a look at Printemps. This year, their windows show the travels of mascots Jules & Violette, with backgrounds designed by illustrator Spiros Halaris.
And as usual, each display has its not-very-subtle sponsor – this year, it’s Fendi, MCM, EasyJet, the île de la Réunion tourist office, Thalys and Citroën!

Le Printemps Haussmann (here) is open Monday-Saturday from 9.35-8pm (8.45pm Thursdays and Saturdays) and Sundays from 11am-7pm
