The dome of the Pantheon reopens for visits
starting 1st April 2016!

After years of building work during which the dome was closed to the public, the most spectacular part of the Pantheon is reopening!

Starting 1st April 2016 visitors can go up to the columned dome of the monument and admire one of the most beautiful views of Paris.

From April to October, groups of 50 people per hour, accompanied by a member of staff, can access this extension to the usual visit.

All you have to do is pay a 2€ supplement on top of the usual 8.50€. For under 26 year-olds, entrance to the Pantheon is free, so they have just 2 euros to pay. 🙂

There’s also a new website for the monument that’s worth taking a look at – www.paris-pantheon.fr.

We learnt, for instance, that your ticket to the Pantheon gives you a reduction on the Vedettes du Pont-Neuf river boats, and vice versa.

And of course for a stupendous view of the Pantheon itself, all you have to do is book a room at the Hôtel des Grands Hommes or Hôtel les Dames du Panthéon. Booking directly through our website guarantees you not only the best rate on the web but also a free welcome drink when you arrive!
