About six months ago, we told you all about Elene Usdin’s photos that were about to be put on permanent display in the staircase of the Hôtel des Dames du Panthéon. However, a certain amount of time was need to resolve a number of technical problems.

First of all, we found out there was no way to attach them to the curved wall of the stairwell. Next, we had to find a way to illuminate them (the system we decided on does from inside). We do like a challenge though, and these little snags have been overcome and the photos are now up…

…and they look great! Here are a few shots of the installation taken quickly this evening (you’ll need to see it at the hotel to appreciate it fully, of course).
