Our part of town will be buzzing on Thursday, with 80 animations different concerts, including our two great events at La Belle Juliette! Plus, no need to worry about getting home – public transport will be working all night!

Here’s all the details.If you’ve never experienced the Fête de la Musique in Paris you’re in for a surprise. It’s a crazy night with all typeds of music coming from the strangest places, and a feeling of happiness that the city only gets on the longest day of the year!

And there are some crazy groups out there (expect to hear quite a few dodgy cover version of Hotel California!)

In the 5th arrondissement, you’ll be able to plug your ears in front of Thor Se Poile (it’s a play on words too long to explain here), the Piwee Drums Show, Les Papyfous Sont Lâchés (the crazy grandads are loose!), Calzone Babouche and The Bling Bling Brass Band!

And the full programme for the 5th arrondissement is here.The 6th arrondissement is a little calmer (25 events vs. 35 for the 5th), but there are a few pearls (many of them food-related, for some reason), like Pineapple Street, Naples and the Cadine Forks, and Spaghetti Jones!

A favourite? – We’ll be checking out the four orchestras playing in the Jardin du Luxembourg. All the details are here (plus, it starts early, around midday. Perfect!).
