In today’s web review, a photographer who can’t wait to come and stay, and a ‘Bermuda Bride’ with a talent for storytelling…Damien Furey is from Australia and his blog is the place he talks about his inspiration and shows some of his work (including some rather refreshing pre-marriage shoots). Click the image above to learn that he’s “pretty damn excited”!

And below is probably the weirdest mention of La Belle Juliette that I found during my web research (if you don’t count the French-language article that mixed our teacups with ladies’ underwear); Bermuda Bride. The site seems to be eactly what the title implies; a resource for anyone wanting to book their wedding in Bermuda. How La Belle Juliette got a mention is a mystery (I’d love someone to explain).

Their ‘article’ is actually more of a short story – Nikki finds passion in Paris – and the part concerning the hotel seems to have been embellished (if not completely invented).

There’s mention of the balconies leading off from our bathrooms (er, we don’t have any balconies), the cobbled streets (nope, none of those nearby either) and the hubbub from the market (which is actually 500 metres away, so not much to hear from our place). But hey, a girl can dream, right?
