It’s back! The most dazzling view of Paris and the Xmas illuminations. Here’s all the details…

Until 30th December 2009, this 60-metre high big wheel will give you excellent views of the place de la Concorde and the 2km stretch of the Champs Elysées‘s amazing illuminations. If you go up in the day you’ll have the most incredible, close-up view over the Paris rooftops, the Tuileries gardens and the Louvre, but it’s at night that the view is the most splendid: the shimmering lights of the city mix in with the sparkling lights of Xmas (more than a million on the Champs Elysées alone).

Try going up just before the Eiffel Tower sparkles on the hour. Unmissable!

The big wheel on the place de la Concorde (here) is open from 10.30am until midnight every day of the week until 30th December 2009.
