The Salon du Vintage – The Orange Years – in Paris

It’s back! Time travel made real, this is a must for 60s nostalgics…

After a successful first edition (8,000 visitors) back in February, the Salon du Vintage is back (already!) with sixty stands of fashion, furniture, accessories and even video games in an even bigger venue.

For this edition, the 60s are being honoured with the theme The Orange Years. Mary Quant dresses, the first pieces by Issey Miyake, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac and Kenzo, daring furniture design thanks to new plastics… Ooh, I think I’m having a flashback!

There will also be a special display by designer Matali Crasset, a self-confessed plastic fetishist, and if you have any tatty old clothes vintage masterpieces hanging around in your wardrobe, experts Chombert-Sternbach will tell you how much they are worth. Kind of like the Antiques Roadshow for fabric. 😉
