A different way of living – an eco show in Paris

The “Salon Vivre Autrement” hopes to show you the variety of products available that respect the earth and the people that produce them.

The show is split into three areas;

– ethical (fair trade)
– chic (fashion)
– organic (food)

There will be 400 different stands with food and drink, beauty products, ecological fabrics, other eco products, and information about protecting the environment. It’s a show where you can

– meet food producers and try out organic products that are not available in the supermarket
– pamper your body with organic beauty products, make-up, deodorant and discover new lines for babies and men
– find organic and fair trade clothes, object and accessories by young designers
– discover organic gardening products, tools and seeds
– forget winter with healthy food supplements
– improve your home with non-toxic products, such as furniture, bedding, building materials…
– get information about eco holidays based on the values of solidarity and real encounters with foreign peoples and nature
– see the initiatives being taken to create fair, people-oriented business models both locally and abroad

On Friday 14th March there will also be two fashion shows, with ideas for both adults and children. Also, the Salon is the moment for the 3rd annual Route des Vins, with 30 organic wine producers available to talk about their wines. You can even taste them during one of three special sessions. And if you buy on-site, they’ll transport your bottles to your car for free! Add to that 30 special eco workshops and 100 information sessions, and I think you’ll agree that there’s more than enough to do!
