It’s the most beautiful, stylish avenue in the world. The view down it is amazing (despite the traffic), especially at Xmas when they switch the illuminations on. This year, however, there’s something new happening on the Champs Elysées.

Usually, the illuminations are made up of thousands of small light bulbs. However, Paris is very careful when it comes to environmental issues, and all those lights use up a heck of a lot of electricity.
