Held twice a year, this collection of stalls is the smartest, chic-est, most stylish, high-concept garage sale you’ve ever seen.

Concentrating on the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s, this year a selection of stalls with vintage clothing will be added next to the collection of impossibly stylish furniture. With over sixty stalls in all, and 15,000 visitors for the previous edition, the event is now a real success, and essential for those with a fine eye for design.

Of course, all this doesn’t come cheap; some pieces are now extremely rare…

Here’s all the essential information:

When: 12th – 14th October 2007
Where: Quai de la Loire, Paris (19th arrondissement, metro Stalingrad or Jaurès).
So it’s not inside in somewhere that’s heated? Nope, it’s outside, along the canal basin. Dress accordingly.
Opening times: 10am – 7pm
Entrance fee: zilch, nothing, nada. Hurrah!
