A massive show in an impressive setting.


Each year, to celebrate the end of the summer holidays, La Défense puts on a huge firework display with the Grande Arche as a backdrop. This enormous white building is part of Paris’ business district, full of impresive skyscrapers, and this year’s show will have a rugby theme (yep, there’s no escaping it).

Show starts at 9.45pm on Thursday 6th September. Métro line 1 will take you all the way there. Don’t arrive too late: 20,000 people are expected!
