William Hogarth was the most popular English artist of his time.

Painter, engraver, moralist, theoretician and philanthropist, he was engaged in the political and artistic battles of his era. He gained international success for his series of images that reveal a remarkable graphic creativity in which he satirized social and moral vices among individuals encountered in everyday life.

Combined ticket (exhibitions and the permanent collections): 13 euros; 11 euros on Wednesday and Friday evenings from 6 p.m.
