Masterpieces of American jewellery making presented by the Nation Jewellery Institute of New York.

As the press release says: “This exhibition presents more than 200 pieces of exception jewellery, dating from the end of the 18th Century up to the end the 20th Century. The jewels produced by such prestigious New York producers as Tiffany & Co. and Van Cleef & Arpels … have been worn by personalities as diverse as Joan Crawford, Loretta Young, Grace Kelly, Mona Bismarck, the Duchess of Windsor and Jackie Kennedy.”
