There are many good reasons to be wary of 'celebrity' photographers. Yes, I'm talking to YOU Bettina Rheims. Annie Liebovitz however has indisputably taken some of the most iconic, beautiful photos of film/rock/political stars in the last few decades. Her work for Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair and Vogue is legendary.

Now the Maison Européenne de la Photographie in Paris presents a new exhibition of 200 photos taken between 1990 and 2005. However not all the photos are of stars: as this is also a personal exhibition, some of the shots are of Liebowitz's friends and family, showing a more intimate side to her that is less well known.

Some may find her style too posed, too slick, a little too clean. I like to think of it as the photographic equivalent of a Hollywood blockbuster movie; a guilty pleasure with a feelgood factor...

Entrance price: 6 euros adults, 3 euros concessions
