For the 19th year running, from 1st - 3rd May 2008, charity Arcat is organising a giant sale of clothes and other objects, all donated by famous designers (over 200 of them!). Your chance to spend less, look good and do good.
You'll find not only clothes (men's, women's, children's) but also various accessories, perfume, cosmetics, designer objects for the home, rugs, crockery, linen, toys...
All the proceeds go to Arcat, a charity engaged in programs to help people touched by the AIDS virus. In 2006 there were 6,300 new cases of infection, and the money is sorely needed.
The list of people that have contributed is below. You'll probably find many of your favourite names in there, so go buy!...

Where: Espace Catherine Max, 17 avenue Raymond Poincaré, Paris 16th arrondissement, métro Trocadéro (lines 6 & 9)
Opening hours: 10am - 8pm (except Saturday 3rd May, doors close at 5pm)
Entrance fee: 2 euros
