The Festival offers spectators an international competition of documentaries not yet screened in France, a selection of French films produced in 2005, and a programme not in the competition: experimental films (Détour), masterclasses by film-makers such as Amos Gitaï who reviews his filming of The House, and workshops with creative media people such as those who put together the Arte television programme "La Nuit / Die Nacht"
