Our photo project PHPA celebrates its 10th anniversary this year!

The annual exhibition runs for 10 days starting 2nd Septembre 2015 (don’t miss it!) at the Galerie Esther Woerdehoff, not far from nos hôtels.

Three prizes are up for grabs for the young photographers who participated in the project during the previous year, and there’s an additional showing of photos by Maia Flore, qui took part in PHPA in 2013 and has just won the HSBC prize for photography together with Guillaume Martial, a participant in this year’s PHPA.

That’s pretty strong proof that PHPA attracts talented photographers! Here’s all the info about the exhibition.

Since 2005, PHPA has supported contemporary photography by allowing one photographer per month to spend a night in one of our hotels and submit one photo and one piece of text about their experience.

The PHPA exhibition and prize were started in 2007. Next came the Virginie Clément prize which is voted for by the staff of the hotels, and more recently a third prize was added, the Galerie Esther Woerdehoff Prize, as the gallery has been our partner for the past four editions.

To accompany these 12 photos, the gallery will also be showing Morning sculptures, a series of photos by Maia Flore, and the winners of the three prizes will be announced juste after the exhibition opens on 2nd September 2015!
